God desires that we have an accurate assessment of who we are as special creatures in his redemptive story. His goal for each of us in Christ is to become more like his Son.
And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose. For those God foreknew, he also predestined to become conformed to the image of His Son.
Clients come to CCAHope for two excellent reasons:
Our priority is client service, our hearts are in local church ministry, our mission is to serve the Kingdom of God, and our highest resource is the Word of God. Our method is to provide contemporary clinical services that meet best practice standards regarding efficiency and effectiveness.
Clinicians at CCAHope strive to join therapeutic work with what God is doing in our clients' lives. Christian tradition calls for his followers to bring good news to the afflicted, healing for broken hearts, liberty to captives, sight for the blind, freedom for the oppressed, and awareness of the time of God's favor. His grace and love toward us give us hope to face even painful truth with confidence.
We who have fled to take hold of the hope set before us may be greatly encouraged.
We assist clients to draw back from the immediacy of their lives to take a lifespan perspective on themselves. T.S. Elliot said, "our difficulties of the moment must always be dealt with somehow, but our permanent difficulties are difficulties of every moment." It is wise to address self-defeating patterns and heal emotional wounds that color every moment of our lives. Those who pursue such a voyage will be grateful; not only at the end of life looking back, but every day along the way!
Whatever you do, work at it with all of your heart, as working for the Lord, not for men.
CCAHope clinicians are ordinary people who partner with others in distress to confront significant issues. Not everyone may finish counseling with a glowing report. Our earnest prayer is to serve clients well and exhibit faithfulness to the Lord. The goal is to uphold the ethical demands of our discipline and remain obedient to Scripture. In these combined objectives, we build on a legacy of quality mental health care that is distinctively Christian.
Being confident of this, that he who began a good work in you will carry it on to completion until the day of Christ Jesus
